Greece v Russia Betting
Euro 2012 - Group A
Saturday June 16th - 7.45pm BST - BBC1
National Stadium, Warsaw POL
Greece play Russia in the final match for both sides in Group A at the Euro 2012 tournament. Russia are the pre-tournament favourites to win Group A, widely perceived as being the weakest group on paper. Greece are the underdogs from a group also containing co-hosts Poland and the Czech Republic, but it was only eight years ago since they shocked Europe by winning this tournament in Portugal.
Both teams topped their respective qualification groups to reach the finals, but it's likely that the Russians managed by Dick Advocat will be favourites with the bookmakers for this match.
Russia are favourites for this match and a win will see them likely see them top Group A and avoid a possible match up with the Germans in the quarter finals. The Greeks can still qualify for the next round but need a win here and the result in their other match to go their way.
