Sweden v France Betting
Euro 2012 - Group D
Tuesday June 19th - 7.45pm BST - ITV4
Olympic Stadium, Kiev UKR
The match between Sweden and France at the Olympic Stadium in Kiev on Tuesday 19th June completes the group stages of Euro 2012. It is likely to be a key game for both sides in Group D, with betting on who will win the group looking tight and a place in the knockout stages at stake.
France are likely to start favourites for this match, although Sweden impressed in qualifying as they again showed the organisation and ability to grind out results that they are renowned for. France have plenty to prove after a disappointing 2010 World Cup and they can ill afford failing to qualify for the knockout phase of a major final again.
France are big favourites to beat a Sweden side already knocked out of Euro 2012 following defeats to England and the Ukraine. A 2-0 win over Ukraine for the French in their second match puts them at the head of Group D on goal difference ahead of England and Laurent Blanc will know that any score that better's England will see them qualify for the quarter finals as group winners and avoid a potential match up with Spain.
