Wroclaw Municipal Stadium
The Municipal Stadium in Wroclaw, Poland, hosts three matches during the group stages of Euro 2012. The venue hosts the Group A matches that don't involve tournament hosts Poland after it was built specifically for the European Championships.
It boasts a capacity of 42,771 and the venue was chosen on the basis that Wroclaw is one of the most dynamic cities in Poland. Its design is one of the more recognisable in Poland as its has a bowl type shape and also has lighting around the facade that changes colour. It's based in the south west of the country and is the fourth largest city in the country, with plenty of fans likely to follow their team's fortunes.
The stadium opened in 2011 and is the home of Polish club side Slask Wroclaw, who ply their trade in the top tier of Polish football. It is one of the lesser host venues at Euro 2012 as it hosts just the three group matches and none of the knockout fixtures, although there is sure to be plenty of interest in the matches as they will dictate which team's qualify for the last eight.
